COOL Characters at Levis Commons

COOL Characters Coming To Levis Commons

Ice Cubes So COOL They Won’t Even Melt

PERRYSBURG, OH (January 26, 2018) –In one week the COOLEST thing to happen this winter will be arriving at Levis Commons. This brand new character exhibit will take over Levis Commons Blvd and give the community a fun reason to get outside and explore.  What’s so COOL about COOL Characters?

COOL Characters was custom created by Michael McDonald, an artist from the Detroit area who is best known for his whimsical skeleton displays that grace the scenes of various high visibility Fall festivals in Michigan.  While thousands of people swarm to the locations of his other displays, COOL Characters will only be bringing the chill to Levis Commons.

The exhibit will feature 8 different character scenes throughout the streets of Levis Commons. Each character is created from gigantic synthetic ice cubes that are so COOL, they won’t melt!   The adult sized characters stand over 6 feet tall and will be accompanied by child characters, babies, dogs and other supporting props.  Each scene will have a unique and trendy theme and encourage onlookers to join the COOL fun with places for photo ops and selfies!

Friday February 2nd temperatures will drop at Levis Commons as the COOL Characters arrive and are set up. The delivery is scheduled for the morning hours and the characters will be on display through February 25th during all shopping center hours.

“We are really excited for this very unique exhibit” said Allison Schroeder, Levis Commons Marketing Director.  “We are offering this free to the community to help cure the cabin fever that sets in this time of year.”
