Costume Clean Out

Giving New Life To Costumes Of Halloweens Past

Levis Commons To Host Costume Donation Drive

PERRYSBURG, OH (August 23, 2017) –The witch from last year is old news and that princess in the closet is no longer her style.  So what do you do with these costumes of Halloweens past?  Donate them!

While Halloween isn’t a necessity, it’s certainly a highlight of the Fall season for kids of all ages! It’s a day for delighting in fiction and fantasy and making childhood memories of Trick or Treat fun! This year Levis Commons will be hosting a Costume Clean Out for you to donate those gently used costumes to kids in our community.

On Sunday October 1st, costumes can be dropped off at Blue Pacific Grill at Levis Commons between the hours of Noon and 6pm. Blue Pacific will also offer 10% off your meal when you make a costume donation. If you just can’t get enough costume fun, you will want to stop out between the hours of 3pm-5pm when you can visit with 6 or more professionally costumed characters from Party Princess Productions.  From Spiderman to Princess Poppy, the classic favorites to the latest trends….they will be there in various places to meet, greet and take photos.

All costumes donated will be given to Family House of Toledo, a family homeless shelter with transition programs, childcare and family support services.  “This is a simple way to clean out those old costumes from your home, and share them with kids who may otherwise not get to experience the fun of Halloween, all while being inspired by the professional characters that will be joining us that day ” said Allison Schroeder, Levis Commons Marketing Director.
