Fire Safety Trailer At Levis Commons

A Community Collaboration Will Make A Public Debut At Levis Commons

PERRYSBURG, OH (September 28, 2018) – Its back, it’s better than ever, and it’s just in time for fire prevention week.  But what makes this fire safety trailer so special, is the community businesses that pulled together to make it all happen.

After almost 30 years of service, teaching area kids about fire safety procedures, the Perrysburg fire safety trailer was in desperate need of renovation.  Thousands of kids had walked, crawled, and “stop, dropped and rolled” their way through the mobile and interactive educational trailer over the years.  The Perrysburg Fire Department sounded an alarm for assistance with the renovation project and several area businesses responded.

Cousino Restoration took on the exterior work with new siding and a roof with materials that were provided by Wimstatt Building Materials.  Ridge Stone Builders tackled the interior walls, ceilings, floors and kitchen.  All three companies call Perrysburg home, and are delighted to be able to support this great community project.

The newly renovated 250 square foot fire safety trailer will be available at Levis Commons on Saturday October 6th as part of their Things That GO Show.  The trailer will then travel the city making the rounds for Fire Prevention Week.
