Holiday Activities Abound at The Town Center at Levis Commons

PERRYSBURG, Ohio (December 8th, 2014) - There is no shortage of winter wonder at Levis Commons this holiday season. In addition to shopping and dining, guests will enjoy a variety of family friendly events. From hundreds of thousands of white twinkling lights lining the boulevard, to Santa greeting young visitors in his house and horse-drawn carriage rides circling the 50-foot tree, the sights and sounds of the season are alive at the outdoor shopping center in Perrysburg.

Santa will be available in his house located near the fountain to visit with children throughout the holiday season. (Visitors should bring their own cameras to record the moment)

Children can also leave their letters for Santa in the mailbox next to his house. Letters with a return address will receive a personal response from Santa, and every week a selection of letters will be published on   
For a truly magical holiday experience, hop on a horse-drawn carriage ride around Levis Commons. Carriage rides take place every Saturday in December from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., and pick-up is located on Chappel Dr. near Schakolad Chocolate Factory. Cost is $5 per person or $10 per family.

Join the WOW Foundation and the Women of Waterford Bank at Levis Commons on Friday, December 6th from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. as they mix shopping with service and help provide local families with a warm holiday meal. All those who bring a non-perishable food item for the Perrysburg Christian United Food Bank will be entered to win a Levis Commons prize package. Plus, make a donation and enjoy other perks like discounts, how-to-clinics and door prizes from your favorite Levis Commons merchants.

Share the holiday spirit with a local child in need and donate a new, unwrapped toy, gift card or other donation to the Lucas County Children Services Holiday Gift Drive! Donations will be accepted until Wednesday, December 17th, 2014. Visit for a list of participating stores and offers.

Give the gift of life by donating blood at the annual American Red Cross Holiday Blood Drive on Tuesday, December 23rd from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn. Raffles, door prizes and food and beverages will all be available for donors.

Levis Commons has extended holiday shopping hours Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from Noon until 6 p.m. The center will be closed on Christmas Day and will be open on Christmas Eve from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and New Year’s Day (Jan. 1, 2015) 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Town Center at Levis Commons is a 319,000 square foot open-air lifestyle center offering a collection of national, regional and local specialty merchants.  The center contains over 60,000 square feet of Class-A office space featuring views of The Town Center and unparalleled regional access via I-475, I-75 and the surrounding freeways.  The developer, Hill Partners, Inc., based in Charlotte, N.C., is responsible for merchandising, retail leasing and management of the center.
